According to scientific studies, 90% of a child’s brain development occurs before the age of five. Babies begin to explore and discover things between the ages of one and two years. Toddlers begin to develop their personalities and expand their vocabulary between the ages of 2.5 and 3 years. When they reach the age of 3.5 they begin to interact with other children and adults.

This emphasizes the importance of early childhood education (ECE) for every child’s lifelong learning development. In fact, Trends in International Mathematics and Science published a study in 2019 that found the TIMSS study discovered that students who were reported to perform well in early literacy and numeracy they outperformed their peers who were unable to complete these tasks by more than one standard deviation tasks successfully. This demonstrates that the importance of raising awareness about ECE is more than just a local issue but something that is being promoted on a global scale.

“As a lifelong learning partner to every Filipino, Rex Education has always believed that investing in education is a good investment.” Early development of foundational skills in our children is critical in ECE and ensuring they are fully prepared for life. We hope to fuel the fire with the launch of our newest brand, Little Explorers discussion about the significance of early childhood care and development (ECCD) in the Philippines and provide quality, research-based resources to our children’s parents and learning partners based, and age-appropriate learning solutions to begin their children’s education even before formal schooling.
