It’s official, Rainy Season already started. So, did you plan your activities for the upcoming months? If not? this one is a good reading for you. Have you ever wondered how other people enjoying the rain ? I have lot’s of colleagues who hates rainy season so much because they cannot go having some outdoor activities in this kind of spontaneous weather. But of course, everyone hate it so much because of the hassle moments going home from school or work because of “EDSA NA LANG ANG MAY FOREVER” forever “TRAFFIC” especially in this season. Brace yourselves, you might take 4-5 hours battling in the traffic. But let’s put it in a good way, there are so many alternative ways to enjoy the xoxo boring upcoming days this season. So I listed down some to do’s during BED WEATHER season.
1. ENJOY YOUR TIME IN YOUR BED PRAYING
Of course, when you lay down you think. You think lot’s of thoughts in mind such as personal matter or work stuffs. But one thing we cannot get rid of, is how we smiled in each blessing we received and get the chance to thank God and look forward for a new blessed day. You will definitely enjoyed it also by just watching your favorite movies, Kdrama’s or even just simply having some siesta.
2. GO HAVE SOME SPA TIME
Pamper yourself with a massage relaxation during this season because this is the best days you will enjoy your ME TIME. Having a hard time commuting makes your body more even tired after a long stressful day of work.
3. Hang out in cafés or establishments you love
Remember those cafés where you would have loved to linger. Either in a packed trip or just in your neighborhood. Now that it’s raining, you can take your sweet time in them. Uhmm, yumyumyum coffee’s and hot choco’s <3. You have lot’s of stuffs to do in a cafe, blogging update, study or even having some chitchat time with your best friend.
4. Surf or Take a dip in a Hot Spring
I remembered asking my surfing instructor in Baler last Summer 2016 if it is safe to planned for a surfing trip during rainy season. Surfers already know this, but for newbies or those who would like to experience the thrill of riding a wave for the first time, did you know that the rainy seasons bring more and usually bigger waves? You’ll just get wet from both the sea and the rain.
PS: Please be careful. Don’t go surfing if there is a storm. I bet you don’t wanna fight with a big waves.
A better alternative of surfing is having some fun in a Hot Spring. With this cool and occasionally cold weather, this is another activity you can try to relax and warm yourself with. You will definitely love it! We have so many hidden hot springs to visit like what I discovered in Palawan. There is also a nearby place for the City People who still wan’t to have some fun this season. It is in Pansol, Laguna just a 2-4 hours drive from your place. You can also planned and packed your bags to any area in the Philippines with a volcano, such as Bicol and Coron. There are many hot springs to choose from. Just be patient browsing ♥
5. PLANNED FOR A STAYCATION
If you’re the backpacker type person who is not particular about accommodations, now is the time to relax in a hotel or resort with better amenities. Expect some downtime when the rains are particularly heavy but enjoy the moments with your loved one’s. You can also have a massage at the spa as mentioned in #2, or simply lounge around on your soft, comfortable bed. And, because rainy season is off-peak season, you might be able to ask for a discount. Discount is really fun. We have so many hotels to choose with. You can even have a staycation without going far from the metro just simply book a room in a hotel or resort in the city or just a few hours commute from the city, like in the heart of Business District (Makati,Ortigas,BGC) , Antipolo or Even in Tagaytay.
